As far as I know there are no City Schools teachers posting even close to regularly anymore. I used to have about 5 I would check daily. There are autism parents who I read regularly, but a lot of the ones I used to read are gone. It feels like those friends you knew intimately in high school that you lose touch with. Very sad.

I don't know. Maybe I'll start posting again, but I have a hard time with the title (and soul) of this blog. I'm not sure I or my kids are surviving the system. I feel scarred and bitter at the moment. So many teachers I know have given up on this system, but I feel more trapped. I also feel so little trust that I worry about saying anything meaningful. But it's really hard to gamble your child's future on idealism. It's hard to see other kids being a part of it and watching your kid be disconnected, but I truly believe that they get it on whatever level matters to them. You are such a good mom for getting your kiddo out there and giving him that community and freedom to be himself. I'm sure if he could, he would tell you that too.Stimeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09685801693683588805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1346348567155318699.post-14338831820039152672012-03-22T20:17:01.869-04:002012-03-22T20:17:01.869-04:00Have a great weekend. BUT, I feela bit like I am reading chapters of a book. I so want to know how your daughter's search turns out. I avidly read as you post about your son. With the changes in Inside Ed, I feel like my ed contacts have finally gpone away. I linked to your blog through Inside Ed but I have fixed that now. No real comments tonight except to let you know I(and others) are reading and to ask you to keep writing. Thinking I would like to meet you? Any interest? They need more opportunities to adjust and learn the nuances and the coping skills. They don't need less. And most certainly, the community at large does not need less exposure. We need more! More understanding, compassion, and opportunities to help. It makes me sad to live in a community where I see so little interaction between people with and without disabilities because it doesn't help build inclusive communities.
http://eliselorraine.comElisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06870259823144655171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1346348567155318699.post-91963568686274781902012-02-27T02:13:04.528-05:002012-02-27T02:13:04.528-05:00this is very nicethis is very niceproperty dealer in Delhihttp://www.propertyvillage.innoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1346348567155318699.post-78025428058086644162012-02-26T20:55:35.208-05:002012-02-26T20:55:35.208-05:00Please read this Wash Post blog.
